Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, country-pop musician and songwriter, when she was a character on the television show One Tree Hill. She played Alex for three of its last four seasons. She was featured in several episodes as a new country music artist. This helped her debut album reach the Billboard 200 Top 20. Thirty One from 2015 reached 10th place. Her decade ended by appearing in Dancing with the Stars and appearing in a variety of TV shows alongside several singles from her non-album album. Voices, a self-doubting album was released in 2021. The actress joined the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 in the role of Alex Dupre, and she continued to appear until the end of the show in 2012, part way through. Jana Kramer Kramer began her career with One Tree Hill in 2011. The actress signed a contract for a record label Elektra Records during this time and released the country-rock song "I I Won't Let You Go" in one episode. The track later appeared in her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. It was a part of the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. Focusing on her music career thereafter without retiring from acting she appeared in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would be popular with her fan base. Kramer released her second album Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. With help from her Top Five country hit I Got the Boy and the duet she did together with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it did even better, reaching the top spot of 3 on the national albums chart and number ten on the Billboard 200. Starting in September of 2016, her two month stint on 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars ended with her finishing fourth. Also, she scored an adult contemporary hit in the form of Feels like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
